How do I Download & Print PDF Documents? |

You need to be a Member Client in order to access any IEMR publication. Becoming a Member Client is free. Once you have registered as a Member Client, you need to select your document for download. You also need Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 or higher versions installed on your computer. To download Adobe Acrobat Reader, visit: www.adobe.com
Once you have downloaded your document, printing is easy. You are given the right to use and distribute this data on a Single-user or Multi-user License basis.

I am having problems with Payments by Credit Card. What do I do? |
| A: |
There are three types of payment issues that Clients usually have:
- Your Credit Card is not being accepted by IEMR’s systems: IEMR does not hold any credit card information. We process all on-line orders using industry-leading encryption technology provided by VeriSign. VeriSign’s Server-Gated Cryptography (SGC) feature enables 128- or 256-bit SSL encryption, the most powerful SSL encryption in the industry. Your credit card transaction takes place between our financial institution and your credit card issuer (i.e., Visa, Mastercard, American Express). If your payment is not going through it is usually because the terms of agreement with your credit card issuer may not allow you to make the transaction (you may be over your credit limit, you may not be able to make transactions from particular IP addresses, etc.). Check with your financial institution or credit card issuer to find out if there are any problems. If there are no problems on your end, contact an IEMR Client Care Representative and we would be happy to process your credit card payment over the telephone.
- To prevent e-commerce fraud and protect your credit rating, IEMR restricts Member Client's from purchasing more than US$ 2,000/- on any single transaction. In some instances, this may prevent Member Client's from purchasing multiple reports with total transaction values greater than this amount. We apologize for the inconvenience. Other Client categories have full and free access to all IEMR research.
- You have made a payment but cannot download data or research reports online: While this happens rarely, it may happen in the event that our servers are down for maintenance. Check back in 1 hour or so and you should be able to access your downloaded data or research reports online. As a Member Client, you will have access to your purchased reports and data for a period of 15 business days from the date of your purchase. As any other Member, you and/or any person in your organization have access to all survey data and research reports anytime, anywhere, depending on your licensing agreement with IEMR. We also send emails with your downloaded data and/or research reports every time you go through check out, so you have your information in your email account within seconds of your purchase.

I want to become an Enterprise Client or Enterprise Research Partner. What do I do? |

Becoming an Enterprise Client or Enterprise Research Partner is easy. Contact an IEMR Client Care Representative by email or telephone and we will be happy to assist you. Clients make a payment to IEMR by bank transfer. Once we have confirmed receipt of payment, we will email you a welcome package that will have all the necessary information you need to access your account. |

I am not satisfied with IEMR’s products and services and would like a refund. What is your refund policy? |

At IEMR, we value your business and it is our goal to satisfy every Client every time. All transactions between IEMR and our Clients are subject to our Refund Policy. Generally, our Refund Policy revolves around three principles:
- As a Member Client, if you request a refund within 3 business days of your transaction, we would be happy to refund 100% of your transaction amount (less service charges) immediately;
- As any other Member, if you request a refund within 15 days of your transaction, we would be happy to refund 100% of your transaction amount (less service charges) immediately;
- After this 3-day and 15-day period, all IEMR refunds are processed on a pro-rated basis. See our Refund Policy for details.

How can I access Survey and Forecast Data on-line? |

You can access our survey and forecast data in an easy four-step process:
- Log In using your username and password. You need to be at least a Member Client to Log In.
- Once you are in our secure client area, go to “surveys" or “forecast data”.
- For surveys data, you can do a search by company and select data cubes or entire surveys. For forecasts, you can access data according to market (Japan, China, etc.) and/or series of interest to you.
- Proceed to Check-Out. You can now download your data in Excel format. You will also get an email with your invoice and downloaded files.

How can I access individual reports published by IEMR? |

You can accessing IEMR’s individual research products in an easy four-step process:
- Log In using your username and password. You need to be at least a Member Client to Log In.
- Once you are in our secure member area, go to “research reports”.

- Click on the relevant link if you know the Publication you are looking for (such as FreeSight, Outlook, Competitor Insight, CONSUMEREADY™, EXPORTREADY™, Mobile Forecast, etc.); or
- Perform the keyword search and all relevant IEMR research reports will be displayed.

- Click on the title that interests you. You will get access to an abstract, table of contents, page count on this title.
- Proceed to Check-Out. You can now download your reports in PDF format. You will also get an email with your invoice and downloaded files.

What is IEMR’s Licensing Policy on its survey data, forecast data, and research reports? |
| A: |
IEMR’s licensing policies are perhaps the most liberal in the consulting and market research industry. Any survey data, forecast data, research reports, and the information contained therein are the property of IEMR, and permission to use the same is granted on a single-user or multi-user basis to all clients based on IEMR’s Licensing Policy. Simply put, there are two licensing options for our clients:
- Single-user License: Allows clients to read, print, and distribute printed copies of IEMR survey data, forecast data, and research reports (and all purchased elements therein) within the client’s organization, provided that IEMR is cited as the source. Clients are also allowed to use and manipulate this data for their internal corporate purposes, provided that IEMR is cited as the source. A Single-user License does not give the client the right to electronically distribute IEMR survey data, forecast data, and research reports to any other individual either within an organization or outside it.
- Multi-user License: Allows clients to read, print, and distribute printed and electronic copies of IEMR survey data, forecast data, and research reports (and all purchased elements therein) within the client’s organization, provided that IEMR is cited as the source. Clients are also allowed to use and manipulate this data for their internal corporate purposes, provided that IEMR is cited as the source. A Multi-user License does not give the client the right to distribute IEMR survey data, forecast data, and research reports to other individuals outside the client’s organization.

I have used information from IEMR’s survey data, forecast data, or research reports. How should I cite IEMR’s work? |

Citation of IEMR’s data and research is subject to our Citation Policy which is included in all Client Licensing Agreements. The general rules for citation are as follows:
- If you have used IEMR’s survey data, forecast data, or information appearing in our research reports without manipulation as part of your own work (such as a corporate presentation or research reports), you should cite IEMR as follows: “Source: IEMR”.
- If you used IEMR’s survey data, forecast data, or information appearing in our research reports and have manipulated the data, you should cite IEMR as follows: “Source: IEMR-based Information”.

Does IEMR undertake Contract Research? If so, what are your Terms of Engagement? |

Yes. IEMR undertakes contract research for a wide variety of Clients in a wide range of sectors. While the terms of engagement vary according to the type of research project, they are guided by our Contract Research Terms of Engagement. Generally, these terms of engagement revolve around three principles: 1) That any results of the research are shared only with the contracting Client unless otherwise instructed by the Client, 2) That the contracting Client has the intellectual property and ownership of any outputs from the contract research, and 3) That IEMR is not liable for any actions taken by the Client as a consequence of the contract research. |
