How can IE Market Research Corp. help?
Over the years, IE Market Research Corporation and its international consultants have undertaken branding and marketing research in a wide range of sectors. These include Agriculture & Agri-food, telecommunications, new media, IT services, financial services, biotechnology, and location branding for government agencies.
Unlike other market research agencies that focus on only collecting data, we focus on building the models that form the basis of questionnaire design and analyse the data using state of the art econometric and statistical modelling that allows our clients to develop a stable and sustainable brand in domestic and international markets.
Case Study
In 2006, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s (AAFC)
International Branding Management Unit contracted with
IE Market Research Corporation to provide branding strategy advisory services for AAFC’s international
branding program.
The objective of AAFC’s international
branding program is to increase international market
share of Canadian food products, and ultimately to
make Canada a world leader in food safety, innovation,
and environmentally-responsible production of agri-food
products.
AAFC had undertaken a number of model-based surveys
in several international markets to understand the
strength of the Canadian agriculture and food products
brands among consumers internationally. Markets in
which the surveys were undertaken were Japan, Hong
Kong, China, Russia, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and
the United Arab Emirates.
The client was looking for a market research firm that
had both the quantitative and international experience to
help it formulate a branding strategy for its international
market development.
How IE Market Research Corp. helped?
Based on AAFC’s survey questionnaires and results, IEMR undertook econometric and statistical modeling of the data and based on these provided detailed marketing and
positioning strategies to the client.
“From 2006 – 2008, IEMR provided us with
comprehensive analyses and strategic advice on multiple international surveys conducted on behalf of AAFC by third-party data collection agencies,” according to Mr. Jason Baillargeon, Senior Research Co-ordinator, Branding Management, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
According to Mr. Baillargeon, “IEMR’s excellent work made significant contributions in providing guidance to our market development efforts in overseas markets. IEMR’s staff delivered superior statistical analysis of what were fairly complex surveys and has an excellent ability to go beyond the model to provide strategic marketing and positioning advice. We could always rely on IEMR to answer our questions on their research and to provide strategic guidance to our management and field staff.”
Adds Mr. Baillargeon, “Overall, we are pleased with the quality of both the verbal presentations and reports we received from IEMR and would recommend IEMR’s services to other clients.”
For this client, IEMR provided cutting-edge research that is currently being used in international markets not only by AAFC and its field staff, but also by Canadian firms exporting agriculture products overseas.
